Job Title

Systems Engineering - Sr Associate

• Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, automation, application.
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the company; scope and create automation for deployment, management, and visibility of our services.
• Perform Installation, configuration, customization, operation, recovery and troubleshooting of AIX/Linux / VMware servers in a Production and Build environment.
• Develop and implement strategies for migration, consolidation, and upgrade of Linux/AIX and VMware platform.
• Clustering and High availability management along with virtualization solutions
• Monitor day to day application activities and enhancement to ensure uptime of the Unix Systems
• Maintain and enhance environment for running batch jobs and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, SSL, SSH associated with daily batch cycle and batch reporting subsystem.
• Apply Patches and Upgrades as necessary.
• Perform tasks for Backup and Recovery Management, automated backup and restore function using scripts.
• Candidate should be very good in Unix Scripting and should have written multiple Unix scripts.
• Combine the ability in scripting and troubleshooting application errors in Linux/AIX environments with fine technical acumen.
• Perform Forecasting and Estimating Capacity Analysis
• Cover on-call/Standby on rotation. Managing ticket queues for incidents/service requests & changes
• Support 24x7 coverage as per Business needs
