Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Systems Engineer position. The Systems Engineer will provide technical support to a Space Program current in Development and Fielding. This position requires a talented Systems Engineer that can work with a multi-disciplined team to perform systems engineering to support all phases of the system lifecycle, including design, development, test and evaluation, training, and sustainment (Unit- and Depot-Level). The engineer will be required to assist the team with lifecycle systems engineering using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles in conjunction with Agile software and hardware development and maintenance. The Systems Engineer will capture submission of maintenance faults, help define necessary Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), and assist during conduct of Configuration Change Boards (CCB), to include documentation of decisions.
The anticipated compensation for the position is $100,000 to $140,000 based on a full-time schedule. Your compensation will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and education.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- US Citizen with a current DoD Top Secret security clearance (SCI eligible).
- Ability to lead an Integrated Product Team in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills to include archiving ECP and CCB documentation.
Required Experience
- Direct experience with DoD System Engineering and MBSE principles and practices.
- Direct experience with MBSE tools and languages, such as Cameo and SysML.
- Familiarity with Agile software development/ maintenance principles and practices.
- Active Participation in Systems Engineering Reviews to include Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Defense Adaptive Acquisition Framework
- Experience with Configuration Management of Hardware, Software, and Documentation.
- Experience with integrating Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) and MBSE tools.
- Experience with design and development of ground-based Space programs.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering.
