The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a senior level Systems Engineer to augment the CACI Program that is entrusted by the U.S. Government to provide operations and maintenance, and development of custom financial applications. As part of CACI’s Intel Application Services, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. You will participate in the process to gather, documents and groom budgetary system requirements and identify opportunities to engineer solutions that address the requirements. You will actively participate in Engineering Review Board activities applying a systems engineering approach to requirements, ensuring they are well defined and actionable by the development and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities:

Develop white papers, studies, analysis of alternatives for internal and external use to advocate on behalf of application modernization and maintenance efforts.

Support requirements life cycle processes to include issue grooming, hosting engineering solution reviews, and requirements reviews, and generating briefings as required.

Support authoring and editing of Technical Manuals, Business process documents and other body of evidence artifacts to support Authority to Operate submissions.

Support program risk assessment, tracking and remediation efforts.

Support COTS vendor management and product deployment planning efforts.

Support development of technical solutions and architectures, data workflows, plans, work schedules, and success criteria.

Conduct architecture analyses, identify capability gaps, and assess solutions to mitigate capability gaps.

Provide project leadership for larger initiatives that span multiple months/quarters.\

Assess enterprise needs against current capabilities and generating documentation to support future and current operations and sustainment.

Deliver products in coordination with the agile project delivery teams and participating in briefings with program and government personnel as required.

Assist with recruitment of new staff members.

Qualifications:
Required:

TS/SCI w/ Poly
-
BA/BS Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science).

7+ years’ experience and demonstrated knowledge performing as Systems Engineer or deriving system requirements
-
Experience working within an agile sprint development team environment using Jira and Confluence.
-
Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, and maintaining the Information Technology Infrastructure associated with an IT system hosted in the Cloud Security and Compliance (C2S) environment.

Demonstrated experience reviewing and assessing impact of proposed scope changes to future architectures. Experience accrediting IT systems under the ICD 503 Certification and Accreditation Process.

Successful track record in providing technical leadership in delivering architecture, engineering, and operation services.

Ability to creatively collaborate with other program personnel to ensure a unified and well-executed goal.

Composure and ability to lead with confidence and calmness when faced with competing high-priority projects and difficult decisions and when delivering presentations.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor required. Ability to create original documentation.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other tools.
Desired:

Experience creating and maintaining a Risk Matrix and Risk Mitigation Plan.

Configuration Management/Change Management experience.

Knowledge of Jira sufficient to build dashboards and reports.

AWS Certification.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$119,800 - $263,600
