Your Main Objective:
Leidos is looking for a System Administrator to work on a small team to support a large organization of Windows users. The role will perform Windows domain admin duties in addition to Windows system administration.
hat maintains multiple production and development databases in a unique and lively customer focused environment. The successful candidate will be a part of a team that provides support to multiple organizations from a central location, with no travel requirements. This is an exciting position that supports a mission critical program with high visibility and a proven track record.
What Sets You Apart:
Qualifications: Five (5) years' experience as an engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
System/Network Administrator (SNA) Skill Level 1 (Linux/Storage)
This role requires Linux experience. The role will perform Storage duties primarily using NetApp products.
Tasking includes:
• Manage and maintain over 80 NetApp and NetBackup storage systems global enterprise.
• Duties included upgrading software and firmware, installing new hardware, replacing failed parts,
backup/restore data of other servers via snapmirrors and/or snapshots, troubleshooting bugs and
various other issues, configuring LUN’s for iSCSI connections to provide storage space and manage
NFS mount points along with CIFS shares.
• Work with NetApp products such as 7mode, Data ONTAP, NetApp IQUM, System Manager and SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware Vsphere.
• Use Grafana to monitor the environment
• Manage and maintain load balancers on Ubuntu OS v
• Use key management applications for encrypting data
• Operate and maintain virtual machines hosted on VMware vCenter
• Use Linux to maintaining SSL certificates, act as a FTP server, and provide various tasks to support the environment
• Used basic Powershell commands for running specific Powershell scripts
• Develop and update documentation for SOP’s and troubleshooting procedures
• Contribute to technical contract deliverables like weekly/monthly reports, etc.
