IT Business Analyst (World of Tanks)

Job Overview

Wargaming Prague is looking for an IT Business Analyst (Requirements Analyst or System Designer as we name it in Wargaming) to join our design team and help us with developing and improving World of Tanks PC web infrastructure. 

As a key member of the team, you will actively engage with stakeholders and other team members to ensure successful project execution. The main objective of this role is to determine feature scope and requirements, identify dependencies across projects and systems, together with other designers prepare necessary documentation, and communicate it to the entire team. You will also support the feature during development and subsequent phases.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with stakeholders to form and clarify goals, objectives, and vision of a feature as well as high-level requirements.
• Work closely with the feature team and specialists from other teams (incl. Marketing, Publishing, Legal, Analytics and others) to gather requirements and to ensure alignment on feature scope and dependencies.
• Prepare feature artifacts and detailed specifications in clear and transparent manner, approve these documents with key stakeholders, keeping these artifacts up-to-date.
• Collaborate with development teams and other specialists involved into the development, deliver and maintenance to consult them and to ensure the implementation of the feature aligns with the requirements.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and ensuring a shared understanding of feature vision and requirements.
• Together with other colleagues continuously assess feature performance metrics, gathering insights to drive iterative improvements and enhance player satisfaction.

What are we looking for?

• Middle (min 2+ years of experience) in business / requirements analysis.
• Good requirements specifications writing skills.
• Strong English skills: writing, speaking, and presenting.
• Knowledge of the life cycle of the project/product
• System thinking and strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements into clear and actionable specifications.
• Good communication skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Basic knowledge of building and architecture of information systems
• Theoretical knowledge of business/system analysis and modern practices of working with requirements
• Strong learning skills.
