The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking a System Administrator to support global enterprise networks. This role will require DNS configuration and management, DHCP & IP address management, monitoring & reporting, security compliance of networks, provide troubleshooting /support, and finally documentation and training.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks of the System Administrator are:
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot DNS zones, records, and resolution policies using the Infoblox application.
- Perform DNS zone transfers, updates, and changes as required by business needs.
- Oversee IP address allocation and management, ensuring efficient usage and accurate records.
- Implement IPAM strategies for efficient IP space management, including subnetting and supernetting.
- Assist in auditing DNS and IPAM configurations to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
- Generate regular reports on DNS and IP address utilization, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Monitor the performance and health of DNS and DHCP services, addressing issues promptly.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM-related issues.
- Work closely with other network and security teams to resolve complex networking issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM configurations and processes.
- Train and support junior network administrators and other IT staff.
Basic Requirements
- Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly
- Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years, master’s and 4 years, bachelor’s and 6 years, associates and 8 years or HS diploma and 10 years. Additional required qualifications include: Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
- The ideal candidate will have either System Administration background, networking background, or extensive experience in managing and configuring DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI).
- Candidates with System Administration and networking backgrounds will be properly trained to perform their day-to-day duties.

Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
