What will you be bringing to the team?
- Provide Level 3 support
- Support the Deployable IT Infrastructure
- Maintain the Core Enterprise Services that include: Active Directory, Domain Trusts, Exchange Servers, DNS Management, Group Policy Management, and software update services
- Monitor, maintain, and keep up to date the operational DCIS assets (deploying software updates, including emergency updates, system monitoring, maintaining Active Directory, and implementing Service requests)
- Use ITSM for resolving incidents, and problems and dealing with change requests
- Create reports and distribute requests further to the team
- Support the documentation of the new Baseline Deployment Process and the preparation of the "As Built Guides" and documentation
- Liaise with the Centralised Service Desk for incident, problem, and change management
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of other smaller infrastructure engineering projects
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- At least 3 years of proven experience in the management of Core Services of a large enterprise or organization
- Experience in Windows Administration with relevant certifications e.g. MCSA/MCSE
- Minimum 3 years experience in maintaining software baselines using WSUS, SCCM, GPOs, and Microsoft Active Directory
- At least 3 years of experience in configuration management and system monitoring using SCOM and LanSweeper
- Excellent knowledge of the entire Microsoft Operating system product line administration: Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 Windows 10/11, Exchange Server 2016
- Ability to manage DNS Domains and DNS Resolution on Windows 2016/2019/2022
- Excellent knowledge of implementing and administering large AD environments
- Good knowledge of maintaining virtualized environments based on VMWare vSphere technology
- Experience in troubleshooting client OS and client software problems
- Experience in Deployable CIS, core services level 3 support
- Active Driving license B
