Job Description
Vantiva is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to manage the sourcing related processes within our AGILE PLM system. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of suppliers and manufacturers, maintaining and updating pricing data, coordinating negotiation activities, analyzing and cleansing system data, driving process improvements, supporting system deployments, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Support and Maintenance:
- Manage the full lifecycle of all suppliers and manufacturers from onboarding to offboarding within the AGILE PLM system, in alignment with the annual category strategy update or as requested by the sourcing team.
- Assist the sourcing team in maintaining and updating pricing data within the AGILE PLM system based on supplier negotiation outcomes.
- Maintain the sourcing calendar to coordinate negotiation activities throughout the costing cycle.
- Data Management:
- Support the sourcing team in rectifying any data discrepancies related to pricing, suppliers, and components within the AGILE PLM system.
- Ensure the accuracy of supplier, component, and price data flowing into the SAP ERP system for PO transactions.
- Conduct regular system cleansing activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Process Improvement and Transformation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance the AGILE PLM process through the implementation of new customizations and process improvement initiatives.
- Represent the sourcing function in programs aimed at defining and developing new PLM and costing systems.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and actionable plans, and lead their execution.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Provide support to internal customers across global locations and within a multi-cultural environment.
- Work with upstream and downstream stakeholders to streamline and enhance the overall business process efficiency.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including technical specifications, project documents, quick guides, and other relevant materials.
- Communication and Training:
- Conduct training sessions for internal users and ensure training materials are always up-to-date.
- Communicate system or process updates to users effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in AGILE PLM system administration or equivalent.
- Extensive experience with AGILE PLM modules covering BOM management, component management, pricing management, and supplier management.
- Strong understanding of sourcing processes within a manufacturing industry.
- Previous experience with other PLM systems or costing management solutions other than AGILE PLM is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience in project management and the ability to lead cross-functional projects.
- Familiarity with system integration and migration processes.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in PLM and sourcing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a supportive approach towards internal customers.
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and take preventative actions.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
- Capability to deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of sourcing processes for both component and finished goods sourcing.
