Purpose and Job Summary:

The Analyst provides support to the Investor Capital Team and Director of Investment Analysis and is responsible for modeling multi-investor funds, including pulling in lower tier acquisitions models for prospective transactions and adjusting upper tier load to account for varying investor needs/requirements. Additionally, the Analyst is responsible for weekly and ad hoc reporting to team leaders on metrics including profitability and volume.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the input and manipulation of property and fund data into the multi-investor upper-tier financial model for evaluation of project feasibility.
- Provide support in the fund due diligence process, including summarizing fund metrics and reviewing data provided by account managers.
- Revise and update upper-tier financial models to ensure consistency of underwriting practices and soundness of fund structure.
- Provide reporting on a weekly basis for Production revenue and profitability, and for current and prospective fund metrics. Ad hoc reporting is also required.
- Work with Production, Fund Management, and Asset Management to prepare and update presentations for prospective and recurring investors.
- Prepare drafts of responses for industry-wide surveys collected by national accounting and consulting firms.
- Provide support to Capital Officers for preparation of materials for annual investor meetings along with other ad hoc requests.
- Due to the fast-paced nature of the responsibilities for this position, extended days and weekends may be required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
- 2+ years related financial modeling experience in the real estate industry (preferably LIHTC)
- Familiarity with Visual Basic or other programming language.
- Familiarity with LIHTC a plus
- Proficient with MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and be creative with problem-solving
