Job Summary:

The SVP, Provider Operations position requires a person with a strong background in operations management. Ideal candidates must be solution-focused, process-oriented, self-motivated, organized, proactive, and must work effectively in a team environment. S/he manages organizational operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies while ensuring alignment against the enterprise strategy. The SVP, Provider Operations ensures Sharecare achieves new revenue and profit growth from existing and new clients, meet client's business needs in a timely fashion, ensures each client location is wildly successful and will serve as a reference. This position directs the implementation of improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization and efficiency.  S/he actively promotes colleague engagement through the establishment of individual performance metrics and through the leadership, mentorship, and guidance of the individual team members especially through times of change and ambiguity. The SVP, Provider Operations collaborates with sales, cross-functional key and strategic sales, solution architects, technical support resources, and other Sharecare resources to ensure client success. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Primary function is to implement and enhance geography and client strategies, hire and retain talent, provide clear direction and accountability to employees, coach and mentor key employees, and maintain core values and culture. 
  • Partner with sales and marketing to identify, evaluate, and manage new business opportunities and marketing initiatives. 
  • Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and technical service resources by communicating project statuses and success metrics. 
  • Manage client expectations to create a win for the client and Sharecare, and protect the revenue after the sale. 
  • Establishing strategies that maximize growth and profitability, assessing and implementing processes and policies to optimize work flow, and capitalizing on new opportunities through effective planning and execution. 
  • Directly responsible for evaluating, establishing, and maintaining operational policies in collaboration with other division leaders and executives to ensure alignment across the enterprise.  
  • Manages key corporate initiatives. 
  • Manage the business to meet or exceed revenue and profit budgets. 
  • Review and approve plans to control budget spending, labor efficiency, materials and proposed new solution development to align with operating budget. 
  • Establish and maintain responsibility to review performance against operating plans, ongoing analysis of market trends and conditions, and approve changes in plan directions as necessary. 
  • Ensures key performance metrics and other outcomes-based reports are delivered timely to each customer and meet or exceed client expectations.  
  • Trusted advisor and expert to clients, sales, solutions, and development for client-centric technology and workflows. 
  • Analyzes operations within the business unit to evaluate performance of the organization and its staff in meeting objectives, and to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change. 
  • Directs the activities of one or more functional specialties, a division, or service area through managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas. Models behaviors and sets performance expectations within functional specialty. 
  • Establishes annual fiscal budget for area of responsibility and maintains deep relationship with finance partner(s) to ensure ongoing P&L evaluation of operating unit to maintain annual targets. 
  • Meets multiple project implementation targets for timeliness, customer success metrics. 
  • Work collaboratively with the global teams to understand the best location for operational needs.

Information Governance Accountabilities:

  • A high-level understanding of the organization's information governance program and role-specific accountabilities 
  • A thorough understanding of role requirements, including policies, procedures and processes, to include how individual work impacts the organization and its strategic and financial goals; and how tasks and projects affect the integrity of the organization's data and information 
  • Commitment to discuss questions and recommendations about processes and any observed variations in performing tasks in order to ensure a standardized approach to work and services provided 
  • Participation in education as required for corporate compliance and role-specific functions and tasks 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in operations management leading large teams, preferably in healthcare 
  • Bachelors' degree required, advanced business degree preferred 
  • Services and software operations experience preferred 
  • Previous experience in medical setting helpful 
  • Excellent client facing skills and commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction 
  • Effective problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary for communication with patients/clients, providers and other staff 
  • Reliable transportation 
  • Maintain privacy of all patient, employee and volunteer information and access such information only on a need to know basis for business purposes
  • Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations 
  • Report unethical, fraudulent or unlawful behavior or activity 
  • Maintain current and yearly HIPAA certification
