As an Associate in the Global Sustainable Investing & Stewardship team, you will be a strategic thinker passionate about promoting solutions in Sustainable Investing. You will be responsible for supporting the positioning and promotion of the JPMAM Sustainable Investing (SI) capabilities and ESG integrated investment platform across various asset classes. You will have the opportunity to use your passion and expertise for advancing sustainable investing, and your creative and critical thinking about financial markets, in a strongly motivated team environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing quantitative and qualitative responses for standard RFPs, DDQs, and ESG questionnaires.
- Assist in responding to client queries through conducting analysis and providing supporting data or documents using Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Powerpoint etc.
- Track and manage SEP (Salesforce) tagging and team activities using client-provided information and the team activity tracker.
- Generate SEP activity reports to support the team in identifying commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with the ESG Client Reporting team to support and contribute to tailored client reports and standard reporting enhancements.
- Conduct analysis on peers, clients, and portfolios for SI-related client inquiries and meeting preparations.
- Develop an understanding of client needs to tailor materials for meetings, focusing on key clients per region as part of the commercial strategy.
- Maintain and update quarterly industry SI flows/AUM statistics, SI materials such as platform presentation materials, and team records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility, while providing general and administrative support to the team
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Passion and work experience with sustainable investing is a must
- Fluency in English a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including the ability to create PowerPoint presentations and analyse data sets using Excel is a must.
- Understanding of the application of quantitative methods and analytic techniques in the analysis of financial data
- Excellent attention to detail, resourceful and ability to work independently.
- Experience of managing a small team.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Familiarity with ESG related data sources such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P Trucost, etc. a plus.
- Business communication in written Mandarin and/or Japanese a plus.
