Become an important part of our success story and lead the sustainable mission in Germany and Central Eastern Europe. We are looking for a Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) based in our head office in Hamburg.

The impact you can create at CHANEL

  • Drive the development of our GER&CEE sustainability action plan with close alignment to global & regional roadmaps, policies and postures
  • Orchestrate the action & interactions with key stakeholders in GER&CEE markets, manage market projects and follow up on all sustainability actions
  • Lead identification and implementation of innovative solutions to operations and processes that further progress the House sustainability ambition
  • Co-develop regional priorities & roadmap with regional teams by providing market perspectives and insights
  • Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable requirements
  • Guide the change of culture and ways of working to build a shared commitment to sustainability among employees
  • Partner with Learning & Development teams to promote a culture of sustainability through education & knowledge building
  • Secure accurate data collection for global & regional reporting
  • Monitor and advise any relevant and upcoming sustainability trends and contribute to the regional sustainability roadmap

What you can bring to the team…

  • Working experience on Sustainability topics (from retail, real estate, supply chain, or consulting industry)
  • Proven track record  in project and change management
  • Able to build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor
  • Proactive and comfortable working independently
  • Very good communication skills
  • Successfully completed university degree
  • Digital affinity and proficient use of MS Office
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English, French is a plus
