Sustainability Manager

to join our Investor Relations team in Espoo, Finland.

The role is new, and you will get to actively shape it.

The Investor Relations team is part of KONE’s Finance function and responsible for communicating our financial performance, strategy, and sustainability efforts to the capital markets. We nurture relationships with investors and analysts, and shape KONE’s narrative towards them, ensuring clarity on our direction, transparency and fostering trust.

In your role as a Sustainability Manager, you will

  • Develop the sustainability perspective in KONE’s equity story and prepare related materials such as investor presentations and IR webpages

  • Drive the development of KONE’s CSRD and other sustainability related reporting

  • Coordinate and manage investor-oriented sustainability questionnaires and ratings

  • Engage with investors and analysts on sustainability topics, providing insights and updates on our sustainability initiatives and performance

  • Collaborate closely with other teams such as KONE’s sustainability team both in gathering the relevant information and sharing feedback from the investor community

  • Stay updated and share information on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure our reporting and communications are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements

  • Participate in general investor relations activities such as quarterly reporting, Capital Markets Days etc.

We are looking for candidates with

  • Relevant master’s degree (Finance, Sustainability or equivalent) with solid academic performance

  • At least 3 years of relevant sustainability focused work experience (considering the responsibilities) such as a role in sustainability reporting or sustainability focused investor relations

  • Passion for sustainability and curiosity to understand the world around us and how it’s changing

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a strong command of PowerPoint and Excel

  • Proven track record in analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills to enable effective teamwork and impact in a matrix organization

  • Proactive, self-driven attitude and drive to keep learning and to overcome obstacles

  • Language requirements: fluency in English, other languages a plus

As a sustainability focused Investor Relations Manager, you will report to the Vice President, Investor Relations and the position will be based at KONE Corporate Offices in Espoo, Finland.
