Veritiv’s Internship Program will provide real world experience, team projects, social events, volunteer work and professional development trainings. The internships are full-time, hybrid and run June 2 to August 8, 2025.
Job Purpose:
Our Sustainability Intern will be responsible for helping achieve our Environmental Sustainability communication goals and efforts to measure and report our ESG goals and progress.
Job Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with multiple internal customers on projects and presentations.
● Identify opportunities to streamline process improvements.
● Take ownership of a project and then assist other team members to support company initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
In this role, you will
• Implement and support processes to collect, organize, and report data for Environmental Sustainability.
• Support and influence opportunities for the implementation of circularity programs.
• Develop a database to support legal team to track and communicate relevant regulations (i.e. EPR, minimum recycled content, material bans, etc.)
• Pursuing environmental sustainability, marketing, business administration or economics degree preferred.
• Ability to collect, organize, interpret, and present data with quality and accuracy.
• Basic awareness of Sustainability regulations affecting the packaging industry.
Work Experience:
● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Ability to work in a team environment.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong planning and organization skills are required.● Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
