The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Support Operations Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing and enhancing our support operations through the development and maintenance of tools, scripts, and automation. Your work will directly contribute to streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring smooth operations across our support systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, PowerShell, and Bash, with a passion for creating innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and Maintain Tools: Create, enhance, and support custom tools that empower support teams to perform their tasks efficiently.
- Automate Processes: Design and implement automation scripts to streamline repetitive or time-consuming tasks using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Web Development Support: Build and maintain internal web-based tools using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Integrate Systems: Develop integrations between support tools, platforms, and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and Optimize: Continuously monitor tools and processes, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with various teams to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for developed tools, scripts, and processes.
What You’ll Bring
- Programming Skills:
- Required: JavaScript, Angular JS, and Python
- Desirable: HTML, CSS, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug effectively.
- Scripting and Automation: Experience in developing scripts to automate workflows and processes.
- Web Development: Familiarity with front-end development practices and responsive design principles.
- System Integration: Experience working with APIs to integrate tools and platforms.
- Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice To Have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to Design, develop, and customize applications and workflows within the ServiceNow CSM module to meet business needs.
- Ability to Configure and maintain ServiceNow components, such as UI pages, scripts, business rules, and workflows.
