ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform data analysis and troubleshooting on open incident / issue
• Explore the data and understand if any discrepancy is found
• Document, communicate and analyze data discrepancy.
• Knowledge of operational processes (e.g. ITIL)
• Identify any issue on programming code and provide the technical solution/workaround.
• Effectively articulate findings or results, data trends and able to come up conclusions.
• Create SQL database queries to verify published data requests, retrieve specific data sets and results as needed for validation purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineeringor equivalent.
• At least a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in SQL programming, writing SQL queries
• Hadoop Technology Stack
§ Spark (Scala based) – reading and understand the code – must have
§ Cloudera and Databricks experience – Nice to have
§ HIVE – Must have
§ Impala – Must have
• Demonstrates strong problem solving and business analytical skills.
• Demonstrates strong understanding of complex concepts and processes.
• Has initiative to learn and is self-motivated to attend to client needs and resolve concerns with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications especially in Excel (perform data quality analysis) is essential.
• Good team player
• Healthcare knowledge would be a plus
