The Supply Chain Specialist is a pivotal member of the Supply Chain team, tasked with supporting critical planning, logistics, and customer-focused functions to ensure seamless operational performance across the ANZ business. This role requires a proactive individual who can leverage supply chain expertise, analytical skills, and operational insights to optimize existing processes and drive continuous improvement.
With a focus on optimizing supply chain workflows, the Supply Chain Specialist will leverage data-driven insights to enhance forecasting accuracy, streamline logistics operations, and provide proactive support to customer-facing teams. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying process improvement opportunities and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and logistics providers to deliver exceptional service levels, minimizing costs, and fostering a culture of efficiency and reliability within the supply chain.
Your role will be:
Supply Chain Planning & Logistics Operations:
- Assist with purchase orders, supplier coordination, and tracking to ensure the timely delivery of goods and alignment with operational needs.
- Support the preparation of data and reports for S&OP meetings, contributing to meaningful insights that inform planning discussions.
- Collaborate with planning and commercial teams to assist in the product allocation process, helping to align tactical decisions with broader strategic objectives.
- Assist in facilitating international shipments including the preparation of all related documents, ensuring compliance with Australian import and domestic regulations.
- Track and monitor domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely movement of goods through the supply chain.
- Create exception report to show any abnormal shipment cost increase and shipment lead time that may impact business sustainability and escalate to Supply Chain Manager
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to streamline operational workflows and optimize delivery performance.
- Assist in prepare, process and report finish goods claim for damage product including import containers and warehouses
- Monitor and manage freight, transportation, and warehousing costs, identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Work closely with Finance to ensure all GR is recorded in timely manner
- Assist in tracking inventory levels, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts, and optimizing stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock
Customer Support and Collaboration
- Partner closely with customer service teams to ensure seamless communication regarding inventory availability, order fulfillment, and delivery updates.

Reporting and Issue Resolutions
- Provide detailed shipment tracking and Goods in Transit (GIT) updates in SAP, proactively addressing potential risks to inventory availability or delivery timelines.
- Assist in preparing key supply chain metrics, including delivery timelines, inventory levels, and cost performance.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to delays, supplier performance, or logistics discrepancies.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain processes, improve efficiency, and minimize bottlenecks.
- Support continuous efforts to optimize the supply chain functions and activities.
You'll need these skills to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years experience in supply chain and logistic operations, including purchasing processes, import/export compliance, and international shipping regulations.
- English fluency, both written and spoken
Skills and Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JDA) or logistics management software is a plus.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills for managing documentation, tracking shipments, and monitoring supplier orders.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address issues proactively and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
