The Opportunity

Our Supply Chain Operations & Enterprise Delivery team is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Houston to support our Process Optimization team, reporting to a lead in Calgary.
 

We are seeking a self-driven team member who is interested in understanding the inner workings of our business and contributes to its growth. This individual brings a creative and collaborative approach to problem solving to the team. The candidate has the proven skills, competencies and capacity to provide a high-level of customer service, with a combination of technical and soft skills, and the critical thinking to identify and mitigate organizational risk while managing sensitive information.

What you’ll do

• Facilitate the resolution of Procure to Pay (P2P) issues with Contract Analysts, Buyers, Project Controls, Accounts Payable, technical teams, suppliers, contractors and other key stakeholders

• Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders prioritizing clear written and verbal communication

• Actively participate in process & technology improvement projects and initiatives for P2P

• Analyze and optimize business processes to align with organizational goals

• Design and generate data-driven reports to support our business needs and insights.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years Supply Chain Procure to Pay (P2P) business support experience with strong attention to detail

• 2+ years practical experience working with ERP Procurement modules, ideally SAP ECC, SAP S4 Hana

• 2+ years’ experience working with integrations and add-ons such as OpenInvoice, and Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), and Ariba

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve conflict

• Skilled in data analytics and design incorporating the use of technology to solve problems

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in ERP implementation projects

• 2+ years’ experience supporting integrations

• Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, Alteryx

• Multilingual skills in Spanish

This position requires candidates to:

• Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico)

• Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training may be required (estimated up 5% of work schedule)

• Overnight stays away from home base may be required (estimated up 5% of work schedule)

• Possess, or be eligible to receive, a valid passport and maintain travel eligibility for Domestic, Cross Border, and International Travel (including the USA and Mexico)
