As a Supply Chain Manager, you will coordinate supply analysis and sourcing plan processes. You will develop and refining supply options to balance service and cost. You will coordinate the operations planning function for the manufacturing facilities, which includes packaging and raw material procurement, production planning, and scheduling to meet growth plans and meeting requirements of service and quality, satisfying safety and environmental regulations.
This is on site role and will report to the Supply Chain Director.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other teams (Sales, Technical, Operations, Customer Service, & Demand planning) to develop and implement operational excellence in Supply and Inventory Planning.
- Measure inventory health and initiate actions to minimize at risk inventory and improve inventory health. Improve outlets for excess inventory.
- Ensure that the supply chain is set up to improve working capital to achieve required service levels. Perform analytics to aid in inventory replenishment and safety stock settings and analyzing stock vs. made to order items.
- Participate in the SIOP process with analytical support and metrics to improve visibility and performance of the process. Ensure supply plan to meet the demand plan while balancing service levels & working capital.
- Oversee relationships with PPG suppliers and external contract manufacturers (tollers). Work with purchasing to manage the strategic and commercial aspects of vendor relationships for purchased finished goods, raw materials, and packaging.
- Oversee supply chain for USCA supply, including working with supply sources, setting stock levels and parameters, measure performance, and implement actions where needed to achieve high service levels with optimum inventory levels.
- Review & coordinate models to set safety stock levels in a multi-echelon supply chain, monitor and adjust based on supply chain performance.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations and policies.
- Communicate with all levels of the organization and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of Supply Chain experience in a batch manufacturing facility
• Leadership experience managing dynamic supply chains.
• BS/BA in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering.
• APICS certification
• Oracle &/or SAP experience
• Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups) and Power Bi
