A Day in the LifeThis role will lead site Purchase, plan and distribution teams at Warsaw and Memphis manufacturing site. As the Manager, Supply Chain, you will manage all aspects of production planning, MPS, MRP release, Purchasing RM & Indirect and inventory management including establishing stocking levels, reducing excess inventories, and global supply-demand – Capacity matching in order to meet customer delivery objectives. You will establish and drive continuous improvements plans in the areas of employee development, supply chain improvements and cost reductions, and communication flow to the GBU and Regions.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Act as key participant/owner in monthly SIOP cycle managing long-term rough-cut capacity views with scenario planning being able to identify and escalate exceptions for business consideration with the suggestion of possible scenarios and solutions.
- Serve as liaison to Supply team, finance teams and plant operations with regards to volume planning.
- Champion and lead capacity constrained Master Production Schedule, MRP to align manufacturing to Backorder, Backlog
- Support Network transfer projects and balance ramp down to ensure no loss of service
- Ensure right material availability to ensure no line down
- Be a Coach and Mentor to Purchase and Production planning team
- Maintains optimum inventory levels as per budgets, to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements
- Drive Purchasing processes to maintain balance between inventory and service
- Ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions
- Function skillfully as the key core team member for large-scale and/or complex projects providing value that reaches beyond the supply chain role.
- Effectively manage the supply chain to meet and exceed KPI’s relating to service levels, net requirement attainment, inventory levels/inventory weeks, and backorder dollars.
- Drive the Inventory Management Plan for all levels of inventory (Plant FG, PLANT RM & WIP). Ensures the plan includes stocking levels to meet global customer requirements as well as achieving the company’s financial objectives.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of SAP, Blue Yonder and Power BI
- Software skills including MS Office (MS Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint)
- rigorous mathematics/analytics/statistical skills demonstrated through education or professional background
- Knowledge of Production planning, Supplier Mgmt., warehousing or transportation
- Medical Device/ Medical Supplies Manufacturing experience
- APICS CPIM/CSCP
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Experience implementing/ utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma/A3 techniques a plus.
- Knowledge of distribution planning, logistics, warehousing or transportation
- 10 years of experience of working in a Supply Chain / Manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience with financial forecasts and modeling or data analysis skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively as a leader and/or team member with cross-functional teams
- Ability to generate customer value - Listening, understanding, anticipating and solving
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence key stakeholders in a global and matrix organization environment.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$111,200.00 - $166,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
