Job Summary
In this position, the intern will utilize and develop their basic knowledge of Supply Chain to help to design, analyze, and improve a Continuous Improvement oriented culture. This opportunity enables an individual to grow and innovate while being able to experience a cross-functional work environment and implement new technologies in building world-class seating systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with inventory counting and tracking
- Learn inventory management techniques
- Support improvement initiatives
- Pull and analyze data
- Help create spreadsheets and reports
- Support inventory management processes
- Support team members in day-to-day operations including hands on activity on the production floor. 50% of the time will be spent on the production floor.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited institution of learning pursuing a bachelor’s degree or pursuing a Master’s degree with Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge especially Excel
- Desire to learn diverse Supply Chain skills in a corporate environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Maintain a positive attitude, is enthusiastic and a team player
- Ability to support multiple work assignments with strong time management
- Must have 3.0 or better GPA
- Summer Interns will work 40 hours per week (full-time), with a targeted start date of May 5, 2025
