This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
The Calix Supply Chain team is seeking a highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire to work hard and learn new things. As a Supply Chain Business Analyst Intern, you will have an opportunity to tackle real-world supply chain challenges and learn how to gather and extrapolate information from discussions and documents to create business requirements and underlying scenarios. In this role, you will perform business process flow mappings, contribute to solution design, manage end-user testing, and produce and review end-user documentation.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn new tools and processes, understands business complexities, and enjoys connecting the dots to identify dependencies.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage small projects, run meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action Items.
- Manage project tasks and timelines on Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Perform requirement gathering and design AS-IS & TO-BE process flows using flowcharting tools like MS Visio or draw.io etc.
- Perform unit tests and proof of concepts in ERP tool like Oracle Cloud.
- Coordinate user testing (UAT) and develop end-user documentations and manuals.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities and address issues and risks.
- Work effectively with different parts of supply chain processes like Source to Settle and Quote to Cash.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Information or related field. Preference will be given to Juniors or Seniors with previous internship or work experience.
- Able to understand and apply basic supply chain concepts (order management, fulfilment, procurement, sourcing, logistics and planning).
- Willingness to learn new cloud-based enterprise applications for managing various aspects of the supply chain.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to think and work independently, including remote work.
- Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience in analytical analysis.
- Knowledge using reporting interface tools like Power BI and Tableau is helpful but not required.
- Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).

Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.

San Francisco Bay Area Only:
21.85 - 28.75 USD Hourly
National Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:
19.00 - 25.00 USD Hourly
Regional plus NY:
17.10 - 22.50 USD Hourly
