Job Summary
The Supply Chain and NPI (New Product Introduction) Planning Manager will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations while driving the successful introduction of new products into production. This role ensures alignment across cross-functional teams, focusing on operational excellence, cost efficiency, and seamless execution of NPI activities.
As Supply Chain manager, you will be responsible for Morse Micro’s new product management dealing directly with the foundry/TSMC-US for Morse Micro product tape-out, packaging design with assembly vendor/ATXSH, and ATE/Final Testing process with testing vendor/ASESG. This individual will be responsible for the collaborations between manufacturing partners, supply vendors and Morse engineering teams to ensure our product launch success. This person will also conduct data analysis, generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations to support the optimization of the supply chain function. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies for cost, quality, and delivery optimization.
- Manage demand/supply planning, inventory control, and supplier partnerships.
- Oversee product readiness, tape-out processes, and manufacturing transitions.
- Lead NPI execution, ensuring smooth coordination between engineering, procurement, and production.
- Drive supply chain readiness for product launches, including sourcing and supplier qualification.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years in supply chain management, planning, or NPI.
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain tools (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Experience in manufacturing, vendor management, and process optimization.
- Preferred: APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or PMP certification, Chinese/Japanese language skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in [industry-specific examples, e.g., electronics, automotive, or consumer goods].
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) or PMP certification is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
