The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of information to support decision-making in the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process. This includes data analysis, process optimization between finance, demand planning, operations, and supply chain teams, as well as inventory management. The goal is to contribute to achieving organizational objectives related to Net Revenue, Delinquency, OTD (On-Time Delivery), and Inventory.
General Responsibilities
• Gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations
• Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain and may suggest improvements or resolutions to problems
• Development of internal reports to present key insights from the data
• Maintaining and improving existing data analysis tools, reports, and business processe
• Drive continuous improvement in the internal forecasting / supply process to optimize working capital while meeting customer goals
• Develop positive working relationships with internal and external partners
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Main Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and SIOP Support:
- Collect, analyze, and present key data for sales, inventory, and operations planning.
- Develop reports and performance indicators related to Net Revenue, Delinquency, OTD, and Inventory.
- Generate scenarios and projections to support strategic decision-making in SIOP.
Process Optimization (including operations):
- Collaborate with finance, demand planning, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure integrated and efficient processes.
- Identify improvement opportunities in information flows and planning and operations processes, focusing on efficiency and cost reduction.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to balance availability and costs.
- Propose strategies for reducing excess inventory, obsolescence, and improving inventory management.
Internal Collaboration and Alignment:
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams (operations, finance, and sales).
- Support problem-solving related to key performance indicators.
Continuous Improvement and Strategic Support:
- Identify trends and improvement areas in SIOP, operations, and supply chain processes.
- Support the implementation of technologies or analytical tools to enhance decision-making visibility and accuracy.
