The group relies on several third parties to provide some services of CLS, e.g. delivery or disposal of the material to the customers on each floor in the pRED centre in Basel.
The position includes ensuring the availability of chemicals in the CLS, including coordinating delivery dates and tracking them in various systems. Furthermore, the role involves checking in, relabeling and taking inventory of substances, creating and assigning new stock items, and properly disposing of waste.
As a superuser of the ‘Research Material Manager’ programe, the employee also provides support for customer service and ensures that stock-out situations are avoided. Substituting for members during absences and ordering/unpacking stock items are also part of the job.
The opportunity:

Review Materials in RMM

Checking in new and old substances into the depository

Sorting, recording inventory in RMM, creating containers in RMM, relabeling

Sorting and disposing of sorted Kardex substances according to SHE guidelines

Professional disposal of waste, for example chemicals, narcotics precursors and packaging

Ordering and unpacking chemical storage items

Superuser of the Jaggaer® ‘Research Material Manager’ Programe

Customer service at the counter

Clarify delivery dates with suppliers and enter them in LAL

Represent team members during holidays and illness
Who you are:

Scientific education
-
Chemist EFZ or comparable
-
2-5 years of professional experience in a chemical laboratory
-
Good IT knowledge (G-Suite, MS-Office)

Very good written and spoken German (at C2 level), good written and spoken English

Friendly and customer-oriented behavior/manner

Conscientious way of working

Very good team skills

Experience with complex processes and systems in the pharmaceutical industry
