Boeing Mexico Service Company is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist, reporting to the Regional Supplier Quality Manager, to join our team in Mexico. Candidate will be working with suppliers and Boeing stakeholders conducting site visits, product and systems verifications, audits, and will support the implementation and verification of Corrective Action and Quality Improvement plans.
Boeing Defense, Space & Security Supplier Quality organization is responsible for oversight of the suppliers’ QMS, evaluating product quality improvement plans and driving cross functional joint efforts. Our responsibility is based the Boeing Production system, our QMS and our contracts with our suppliers, to ensure that all of our products meet type designs.
Position Responsibilities:
• Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
• Documents and reports audit and assessment results.
• Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
• Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
• Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
• Resolves routine issues and concerns.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Must be legally able to work in Mexico
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
• 4+ years’ experience of conducting/leading Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audits
• 3+ years’ experience of conducting Quality investigations, Root Cause analysis and implementation and verification of Corrective Actions in production environments
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
• Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100 & AS9102
• Hands on experience performing inspection activities of wire harness, mechanical and electromechanical details and assemblies
• Proficient in MS Office tool suite and project management software tools
• Experience with the application of improvement methodologies such as (Lean, Theory of Constraints and/or Six Sigma) to achieve measurable results.
• Working knowledge of various quality tools and processes such as FMEA, control plans, SPC and MSA
• Experience with mixed technologies – machining, fabrication and assembly, electronics assembly, etc
• Experience with contract, engineering specifications and drawing review
Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Additional Information:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Mexico. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Mexico. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
