Join Our Team as a Supplier Quality Specialist in the 24 Month Contract role

Summary:
This role will mean you will join a dynamic and inclusive team that values collaboration and innovation. The Supplier Quality Engineer will contribute to meaningful projects that impact the quality and safety of medical devices and provides a great opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support all aspects of Quality Systems related to supplier quality, including procedures, risk assessment, and maintaining the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and Supplier Qualification Plan.
  • Collaborate with corporate supplier quality teams on various projects.
  • Administer and execute the supplier quality system (QSA) as per the schedule
  • Actively participate in the On Body Injector (OBI) mock audit team.
  • Prepare and maintain supplier-related documentation (Product Quality Assessment, Certificate of Conformance) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support projects to qualify new or alternative suppliers or materials and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Lead material investigations raised by Notification of Event (NOE) or Quality Notification (QN) with suppliers and conduct effectiveness checks.
  • Manage all quality-related aspects of materials used to make delivery devices and suppliers of those materials. This includes managing and executing supplier audits, incoming inspections, non-conformance investigations, supplier monitoring, and communication.
  • Support supplier process validation, materials/supplier change project management, and supply chain efficiency improvement.

Educational Requirements:

  • A primary degree in Science or Engineering Discipline.

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in an ISO9001 or ISO13485 environment, preferably within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Experience in statistical analytical skills.
