Summary
The Supplier Quality Administrator will hold primary responsibility for managing Quality Assurance processes with suppliers and sub-contractors including, but not limited to, corrective and preventative actions that will support our Key Customers, and internal teams.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare Quality Metrics and reports Scorecard Performance to internal and external parties
  • Send Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) and/or non-conformance notifications
  • Review Supplier AS9102 First Article Inspect Reports for conformity and accuracy
  • Maintain Supplier Inspection Plans in Agile and the ERP System
  • Support the calibration system for all inspection and measuring instrumentation
  • Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and Item Sourcing Rules in the ERP System
  • Manage a process for marking, segregation and review of rejected materials
  • Lead team through disposition, short and long-term corrective action, supplier interaction, reporting and trend analysis
  • Maintain the Supplier Audit Schedule
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
  • Applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks while receiving little instruction
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • 2 – 4 years' experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, SPC, and quality systems AS9100, including supplier audit and evaluation techniques
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline is preferred
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment (Constant)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move or carry objects of varying sizes and shapes (Occasional)
  • Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)
