Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this newly created role will see the successful candidate:

  • Implement supplier management programme
  • Proactively manage supplier contracts and supplier performance in conjunction with the business stakeholder and Equinity Group
  • Ensure Supplier’s due diligence is completed on time and in full – any issues are addressed with relevant business stakeholders
  • Onboarding of new suppliers
  • Adhere to Lenvi’s Procurement and Buying processes
  • Liaise with Equiniti Group Procurement Category leads to ensure compliance with Group policy and value for money driven through the procurement process.

To succeed in this role, you will be proactive, driven, determined and have a positive attitude. The role holder will have excellent stakeholder management skills, in order to work collaboratively both internally and externally, yet also have the ability to appropriately challenge ensuring the best possible outcomes for Lenvi and EQ. Experience in Supplier and Contract management and strong attention to details is essential.

In return, we offer a great package that will include hybrid working (expectation minimum 3 days per week in our Leeds office).

What You will be doing:

  • Working collaboratively with the business, including EQ Group, implementing Supplier Relationship and Risk Management programme (SRM);
  • Managing Supplier relationships and performance in accordance with agreed Supplier plan as defined in the SRM programme;
  • Ensuring comprehensive hand offs for key suppliers to the Team to ensure appropriate and effective ongoing contract and relationship management;
  • Analysing supplier database and seek commercial opportunities and efficiencies;
  • Contributing to building and delivering of Procurement plan;
  • Lead on some procurement initiatives included but not limited to: Supplier negotiation encompassing tender management, contracting, pricing, terms and delivery of a quality of service and supply within Lenvi and EQ Group’s compliance and risk appetite;
  • Onboarding suppliers in line with Lenvi and EQ’s polices;
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships across the organisation, to ensure effective relationships to allow the role holder to effective;
  • Provide cover and support to other team members;

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and systems
  • Strong analytic skills, comfortable using fact-based analysis to support business decision making
  • Strong ability to work alongside stakeholders to develop pragmatic plans of action which are aligned with business needs
  • Ideally, experience within the Technology and/or Financial Services sectors. 
  • Ideally a professional procurement qualification or working towards it (e.g. MCIPS)
