Job Description:
Responsible for planning and forecasting inventory needs and purchases for global needs. This position will serve as a critical part of our Planning and Purchasing teams to support our continued growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, report and track long-term supply strategy and purchases for the United States and international markets for all literature, kits, packaging and hard goods
- Provide rolling supply forecasts to key vendors in measuring vendor capacity to improve long-term stability
- Manage SKU transitions in ERP system for all updated finished and unfinished materials, minimizing obsolescence
- Act as liaison with business communications and international departments, reviewing transition timelines and stock requirements
- Partner closely with marketing team in reviewing optimal packaging strategy, reviewing sales and forecast to analyze optimal effect of packaging, recommending changes where necessary
- Review timelines with procurement and logistics departments to optimize inventory strategy
- Ensure ERP processes are established and followed to maintain data integrity in existing systems
- Help develop, track and improve supply planning KPIs
Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in operations environment
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, operations management, manufacturing or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- ERP experience (SAP experience preferred)Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects concurrently
- Strong understanding of MRP and other supply chain functions and best practices with ability to apply concepts in a meaningful way
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work toward and meet specified deadlines
