Job Summary:

 

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading the logistics sales team in Scandinavia and BeNeLux. This role requires close collaboration with the Project Solutions Engineering Team, Project Management Team, Logistics Field Service Engineering Team, ACE Team, Logistics Channel Manager, and the Logistics Business Unit. The Sales Supervisor will oversee a team of 2-4 members, developing strategies to maximize bookings, sales efficiency, and partner productivity, while also managing their own territory. The Sales Supervisor is accountable for achieving the team's booking quota and managing team performance. They will share best practices, drive innovation within the team, and embody Cognex's core values: Work Hard, Play Hard, and Move Fast. Additional tasks may be assigned by the manager as needed.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute the logistics sales plan to generate business at OEMs and end users, aiming to meet the annual quota and expand Cognex’s market share among existing and new customers.
  • Utilize the 6 bullets sales process to secure wins at key logistics accounts.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts based on data to ensure FCR and BOF goals for the region are met.
  • Foster strong cooperation and coordination with the Global Account Management team and the OEM team to increase Cognex's overall share in all accounts.
  • Conduct product and solution demonstrations at customer sites, effectively using the burn grass/delta sell sales process.
  • Ensure the CRM is updated daily by the field sales team and that a sufficient sales funnel is generated.
  • Identify development needs and skill gaps within the logistics sales team in Scandinavia and BeNeLux and develop training plans in collaboration with training managers. Use field data and observations to determine training topics.
  • Provide input to marketing for lead generation campaigns.
  • Manage people: training, feedback and motivation, recruiting, performance management, and compensation planning.
  • Create a work environment that promotes the Cognex culture and ensures employee retention.

 

Minimum education and work experience required:

 

  • Fluent in English and Danish or Swedish. Additional languages are advantageous.
  • Technical or Commercial Degree and a minimum of 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Proven sales experience and a track record of selling to organizations where engineering significantly influences decision-making.
