About this Position
The ITC Supervisor effectively manages the operations of their assigned unit within ITC and assigned staff and maintains departmental productivity standards. The ITC Supervisor manages the daily floor operations and promotes a productive environment that reflects the values of Primerica. The supervisor must maintain proper working relationships with staff and ensure that all staff are treated in a manner consistent with both company and department policy; respect for individuals is a must. Must exhibit a solid understanding of data tables, queries, fax and email servers, etc. Maintains good cross-functional working relationships. Is able to work independently, works well-under pressure and executes projects as requested. Displays a solid understanding of ITC systems and works well within a team setting. Has a working knowledge of documents processed by ITC. Has solid technical skills.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Supervisor – Image Technology Center
- The Image Technology Center Supervisor will act as a liaison between the ITC, partner business units, management, HR and IT staff as needed and should be comfortable initiating meetings to discuss issues relevant to the effective running of the ITC department.
- The Supervisor oversees the daily activities of the team and ensures that all procedures are followed and that production goals are met.
- Ensures that the team functions in an organized manner and dynamics of the team align with the culture of the organization and the Code of Conduct.
- Works with the assigned team lead and team members in the to monitor productivity, develop training programs and ensure retraining is available when needed.
- Provide coaching when necessary.
- Displays professionalism and impartiality when working with others.
- The ITC Supervisor will assist with updating process documentation, desk procedures and training guides.
- The role will be responsible for assisting with staff retraining as needed. Ensures that internal department controls are adhered to by the team, ensures established company compliance laws are followed.
- Assist management with ensuring workflow improvements, new process procedures and training are adhered to by all.
- Manages daily attendance and productivity reports.
- Generates special reports on a variety of metrics as requested.
- Conducts annual performance reviews taking into consideration the quality of work and the performance of the individual team members.
- Can identify and address performance issues in a timely manner and address them utilizing the tools and resources available for performance concerns.
- Exhibits excellent management skills and the ability to motivate employees.
- This role will maintain accurate reporting on a weekly and monthly basis on errors including documenting the type of error and the user making the error.
- Understands budgets as it pertains to their area.
- Displays knowledge of the area and can adequately present an overview of the department as needed.
- Maintains an understanding of all functions under their supervision.
- Ensures that policies and procedures are updated.
- Completes special projects as assigned within the required timeline and according to instructions.
- Exhibits the ability to maintain productivity measures and report on them accordingly.
- Has an understanding of departmental operations and associated data.
- Can easily explain reports and OP's decks.
- Manages attendance and is capable of adjusting ensure all work is completed as necessary including adjusting staff assignments as needed.
- Has a solid grasp of supervising and management.
- Exposure to or experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Must have strong Excel skills including the creation of formula's.
- Data analytical skills strongly desired.
- The ITC Supervisor will assist with document coding as needed and when the Pending queue has been worked.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitor the Pending queue and review documents for accuracy.
- Connect with business units to identify changes in document coding procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Ability to work with cross-functionally with business units and leadership.
- Ability to maintain and update procedures.
- Ability to generate error reports including analyzing data for reporting to management.
- Create training guides related do document coding.
- Assist team members by answer questions about proper document coding procedure.
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Prior Supervisory experience in an Operational setting preferred.
- Fast learner with proven document coding proficiency and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Quick grasp of systems involved in document coding, understanding of back and front-end processes.
- Ability to provide updates to management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with others.
- Sound business related skills such as problem solving, team building, judgment and decisions making.
- Excellent planning and organization skills, with a commitment to delivering on aggressive timelines
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- College degree preferred.
- Product or industry-specific experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Queries and data analysis
- Some knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QC
- Ability to learn and utilize data analysis tools
