The salary for this position ranges from $97,504 - $126,755 and is dependent upon experience.
Purpose:
Supervises the daily activities of Customer Feld Technicians. Accountable for the performance of the Customer Field service team. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Make decisions based on the policies, processes, and procedures of the Department. Support the Manager of Customer Field Services.
Qualifications: (minimum qualifications for assignment to this job)
Education: AS Degree Experience: AS in a related field and 11 years professional level experience in a related field or 15 years of specific Distribution (Overhead, Underground or Substation) including experience as a Senior Field Technician with demonstrated leadership ability and expertise in providing guidance and resolving problems for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervises the daily activities of Field Technicians, manages requests for work, prioritizes assignments, balance workload, monitor progress and report status as required. Accountable for the performance of the Team.
Interprets customer needs to assesses requirements for resolution. Makes decisions that are guided by operating procedures that are within the policies, processes, and procedures of the Customer Field Service area.
Serves as the first line for handling elevated internal/external customer requests / complaints. Identify and resolve operational and technical problems using defined processes, policies, and procedures.
Assist assembling the Work plan schedule, resource forecasts and RC Budget. Reconcile variances.
Manages RC Administration (e.g., Approves timesheets, P-cards) while working within budgetary and financial objectives set by next level of leadership.
Perform special studies, serve on committees internal / external ECNE and serve as SME to others.
Evaluates the performance of Field Technicians through on-going assessment, coaching, etc. and promote their development.
Knowledge of Distribution System design, construction, materials, standards, procedures, and processes.
Ability coach, lead, and motivate; achieve buy-in, set direction, work with others to produce results; allow freedom to attain goals, develop people, capable of developing reporting systems.
