JOB DESCRIPTION
General
Superintendet of warehouse has overall responsibility for the materials and FGs areas and all warehouse operations. This position is responsible for supervise and coordinate day to day activities in receiving, supplying and shipping, maintain inventory in control, following FIFO rules, achieve KPIs targets in terms of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost-Budget, fulfillment and delivery. Establishment, leadership and execution of strategies to assure production continuity.
Activities:
- Responsible of all procedures, work instructions and documentation related with warehouses are followed 100%
- Evaluate and improve supply activities between warehouses and production lines-process
- Responsible to keep inventory accuracy above 90%. Assure to maintain FIFO 100%
- Responsible to complete 100% cycle counts schedule and analysis of variations
- Actively participate on activities related to new projects, preparation of new lines and the routes to supply material and storage materials and FGs
- No downtime by material supply from warehouse
- Participate and support quality, safety and environmental goals related with warehouses.
- Daily administration and operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging and storage of suppliers, materials and equipment.
- Account for all materials and supplies in warehouses. Periodical audits of goods received.
- Coach and mentor team members in all activities related with Safety, Quality and Productivity. Direct and supervise warehouse staff.
- Review effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, safety and protection of equipment and racks.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 Years suggested minimum experience in materials areas
- English 70%
- Desirable knowledge of inventory management, ERP-MRPs systems.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology is a plus
