Locumsmart is looking for a Summer Intern to join our Locumsmart Account Management team. As a Summer Intern on the Locumsmart team you will contribute towards strategic and operational goals of the account management teams. This role may also support business operations.
CHG’s internship program is designed to enhance student’s learning and growth, while providing an opportunity to meet educational curriculum requirements. Students will work on projects that allow them to think critically, create measurable goals and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Support Locumsmart account management activities for both health system and vendor clients
- Effectively manage Locumsmart’s data management software as requested
- Collaborate with internal teams on the production of data sets and presentations
- Participate in other activities to support business and growth initiatives
- Assist with business operation teams as needed
Qualifications
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer skills with experience using MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe
- Must be enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a College or University or are/will be a recent 2025 graduate
- Can provide a list of learning objectives and internship agreement for your program
Preferred
- Some sales experience preferred
- Interest in business operations or account management preferred
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay of $20.00/hour.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
