Hexcel is currently seeking a Summer Corporate Tax Intern (3-4 days/week) for our Stamford, CT location.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Tax Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate tax compliance, planning, and research. As a Corporate Tax Intern, you will work closely with our experienced tax professionals and gain insight into the corporate tax landscape.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and related filings.

Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning and compliance efforts.

Assist with the preparation of Federal and state and international tax return workpapers.

Support the tax team in responding to tax audits and inquiries.

Organize and maintain tax documents and records.

Participate in special projects and initiatives within the tax department.

Attend training sessions and team meetings to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:

At least 2 years of college studies completed and working towards a four-year or graduate degree in Accounting, Taxation or related degree program

Strong academic performance with coursework in taxation preferred (Minimum 3.0 GPA).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required to work onsite in the office.

Applicants should be willing to commit 10-12 weeks of work during the Summer.
