We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join the Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in Houston, TX as Asset Management Summer (2025) Analysts. Our intern program lasts 10 weeks and includes many exciting training and development opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Financial modeling and analysis for lease transactions
- Industry research
- Written materials and analysis for memos and presentations
- Track portfolio performance and analyze the impact of new leases or transactions.
- Research credit profiles, investment strategies and business models of existing and potential tenants
- Tenant presentations and property tours
- Compile and coordinate leasing activity and building status reporting activities.
- Leasing and tenant reports for Board and Investor presentations
- Assist in the analysis and comparison of property operating expenses.
- Tour assets alongside senior colleagues
Your Qualifications:
- Rising junior or senior working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in related major (Real Estate, Finance, Business, or Economics), with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Demonstrated interest in real estate
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development
- Ability to handle large volume of work; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Candidate should be enthusiastic and motivated to succeed in a team environment
