INTERNSHIP START DATES:
Group 1: May 19th-August 8th
Group 2: June 2nd-August 22nd
Group 3: June 16th-September 5th
ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Salesforce Innovation Center (SIC) is looking for a SIC Intern to join the team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of our established SIC program. This role will be responsible for supporting experiential and agenda components that bring customers' meeting goals and vision to life. This role requires someone who identifies as a self-starter and is comfortable managing their time to meet deliverable deadlines.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally with other SIC team members, field marketing, as well as customer and internal leaders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Align with the SIC team to gain a deeper understanding of meeting objectives/goals.
  • Support sales teams regarding logistics and experiential components of the meeting.
  • Provide executive-level presence and hospitality for customers and internal discussion leaders from arrival to departure.
  • Own experiential components for customer meetings. This includes catering orders, dinner/reception reservations offsite or onsite with our partner teams, volunteer activations, and enhanced meeting experiences.
  • Create and print name tents and set up conference rooms to be customer-ready with printed materials, notebooks, pens, and any additional equipment needed for the meeting.
  • Greet Salesforce executives and customers upon arrival at the Salesforce Innovation Center and manage all front desk operations.
  • Input meeting data into Salesforce, including all logistics, meeting costs, customer attendees, and discussion leaders.
  • Keep the floor organized and assist with all real estate, operational, and Agentforce projects.
  • Propose new ideas for the experience on our floor and ways for our day-to-day operations to be more efficient.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Junior (Rising Senior) pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the Google Suite of products (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
  • Ability to be onsite at the SIC up to 5 days a week.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Exceptional team player with a passion for learning.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Customer service, events, or hospitality experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Mail, Google Calendar, and Slack
  • Experience with Salesforce technology

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $29 to $31.
