The Opportunity

The  Continuous Improvement Engineer Intern will assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within an organization. They use a variety of tools and techniques, such as Lean and Six Sigma, to analyze and optimize business processes.

Day in the Life

• Assist with Process Improvement Projects
• Complete Data Analysis and Reporting
• Create Standard Work & Documentation
• Support Continuous Improvement Training & Efficiency Service Offerings
• Benchmarking & Research Industry Best Practices
• Provide Hands-on Problem Solving

Qualifications

• Entering the junior or senior year of a Bachelor's in Engineering, or a related field of study in progress during the summer of 2025
• Desire and willingness to learn and implement Six Sigma and Lean procedures and systems
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
• Skilled in problem solving, innovation and team participation
• High level of self-motivation and personal accountability works with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office for analyzing data and presenting projects
