Sr. Product Specialist
Reports To" Technical Sales Specialist Lead
Group/Division: Bioscioences Division
Location: Bengaluru
Roles & Responsibilities:
Join our world-class team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our product management operations. As a Sr. Product Specialist, you will be entrusted with:
- Achieving regional sales targets and driving portfolio performance.
- Demonstrating and showcasing the assigned product portfolio.
- Leading and developing a team of Product Specialists to align with regional goals.
- Providing second-level support to Product Specialists, addressing critical issues, and facilitating customer interactions.
- Collaborating with Sales teams to ensure alignment with regional sales numbers.
- Collecting and analyzing tender information, pitching for the right tenders, and maintaining a record of regional Win/Loss tenders.
- Conducting training sessions for internal teams and channel partners.
- Presenting at scientific forums, conferences, technical seminars, and product launch events.
- Planning and performing workshops, technical demos, and presales customer presentations, as well as providing post-sales support.
Education & Qualification:
- Postgraduate or Ph.D. in Life Sciences.
- A minimum of 5 years of techno-commercial experience in the life sciences industry with proven managerial capabilities.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven for a successful sales career.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Outstanding sales competence and a detailed understanding of the portfolio.
- Proven experience as an Application Specialist, Product Specialist, or Product Manager.
- Advanced technical knowledge in biological sciences.
