About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team and primarily involved in the virtualization and Hypervisor team of Automotive domain, who held the development and design systems of the Hypervisor stack.
What You Will Do:
- Understand the requirements, design, develop and debug system SW in the field of automotive Cluster & Infotainment system.
- Analyze customer and internal requirements and specifications and translates these into software designs.
- Understanding of the system software, drivers, system architecture, design methodologies, software platform integration with hardware bring up.
- Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results.
- Work well with the distributed global teams.
- Handle customer queries and calls
- Should be able to generate and report the work progress with right status
- Identify the technical dependencies & risks early in the stage
- Define the inter module interfaces and document the same
- Communicate with peers inside the Harman group to coordinate software development. This includes occasional travel for training or coordination with other groups.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in computer engineering/science or Electrical / Electronics / Comm. Engineering
What You Need:
- Good understanding of device trees in Linux
- Experience on Android Framework & Build system.
- Knowledge of tools like git/repo
- Good understanding of Linux kernel Internals (memory management/Interrupt handling/DMA subsystems)
- Good understanding of QNX Hypervisor.
- Good knowledge of ARM GIC, Timers, debug subsystem(ARMv8 architecture)
- Working experience in ARM based Multicore system.
- 14+ yrs. of hands-on experience in Infotainment/Cockpit System SW Development/Design for Automotive Electronics systems.
- Experience in architecting Infotainment/Cockpit Security solution.
- Experience in Multilayered Software architecture.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, Configuration (Perforce, etc.) and Project Management tools

Eligibility Requirements:
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time
- Willingness to work in an office in Pune, India.
- Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test.
