INTECON, LLC is seeking an experienced SME Conference Management Analyst to oversee conference planning, coordination, approval processes, and compliance for DHS-hosted and attended events.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Implement federal conference regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with conference approval processes, legal reviews, and budget analysis.
  • Conduct market research on venues, cost, and A/V capabilities.
  • Analyze conference data for trends, cost reductions, and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain and review conference policies and procedures to ensure DHS compliance.
  • Draft and submit conference approval documentation and justifications.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in conference planning and event management for federal agencies.
  • Knowledge of DHS conference approval requirements and federal event regulations.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
  • Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP)
  • Digital Event Strategist (DES)

Proficiency in:

  • Event planning tools, budgeting systems, and conference reporting tools.

Security Clearance:
Must possess a Public Trust clearance.
