Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Subcontract Administrator to join our team! In this role you will be the primary subcontract support for various programs in the DSES (Defense and Space Engineering Solutions) Business Unit providing support on large Federally funded domestic and international projects.
What You'll Be Doing:

Carries out proper planning and organizational responsibilities to ensure seamless and successful tactical execution.

Prepares Request for Proposal form and verifies accuracy and completeness of proposal packages. Interfaces with affected sections to clarify and ensure that all necessary data has been included.

Receives subcontractors' responses to requests for proposals, determines each subcontractor's ability to meet Company and project requirements, and negotiates the terms and conditions. Prepares and issues contracts commensurate with delegated procurement authority.

Prepares subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flowdown requirements from the prime contract. Ensures that terms and conditions will be appropriate.

Prepares reports and contractual correspondence for project management and client. Establishes and maintains accurate tracking records tailored to each subcontract.

Maintains and updates subcontractors' files to include records of payment.

Performs subcontract closeout actions, completes file documentation, and forwards subcontract files to storage.

May provide technical guidance to lower-level Subcontract Administrators. May make assignments and review completed work.

Serves as liaison between subcontractor personnel.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related field)

US Citizen

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

Strong organizational and workflow skills and required

Must be able to adapt to and be a positive agent for change

Proficiency using MS Office products

Excellent communication skills,

Development of overall understanding of procurement principles and concepts, including, but not limited to, solicitation of proposals, proposal analysis, award and administration of subcontracts, and closeout procedures associated with cradle to grave procurement responsibilities.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

1-2 years of Defense Industry experience

Supply Chain Management Degree

CostPoint or other similar financial systems used to execute agreements

Knowledge of purchasing practices in the technical engineering labor subcontracts industry.

Salary Range:
$61,200.00 - $107,100.00
