Position Summary:
As a Studio Artist in the Manufacturing team in Singapore, you will support Card Productions and Customer Service by composing, simulating personalization or design artwork. You will develop products that will secure the digital lives of millions of people.
Responsibilities:
- Provide feedback to customers’ artwork whether it is executable including resolutions, fonts, etc
- Compose and simulate artwork, complying with customers’ specifications
- Monitor design, interface with customers, discuss design concept, tweak and present to customer(s) for approval
- Prepare colour separation and digital paper proof for local printing production to determine sequence and passes for each artwork
- Prepare Epson proof for customer’s approval and arrange courier service for non-local customers.
- Provide out of scope support to generate high resolution images, working files or specific requested by Customer Service or Sales
Requirements:
- Diploma in graphics design or equivalent
- Have a passion and design skillsets as required in the offset print industry
- Proficient in Apple Macintosh platform, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Basic knowledge in usage of Excel and Outlook
- Technical knowledge in printing related industry/ technology preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
