The Student, Talent Acquisition position will support the Talent Acquisition Team in acquiring top talent and improving the overall employee experience. This position will provide exposure to full-cycle recruitment activities.

What you’ll do

  • Interview scheduling support (calling and booking interviews)

  • Job posting support

  • Working with HR Software (Workday)

  • Onboarding support (completing hires and coordinating new hires for day 1)

  • Reporting support (weekly reports and data maintenance)

  • Participate in projects to develop, review and improve HR processes

  • Responding to general HR-related topics as required

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: 

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa) 

  • Available to begin work in May 2025

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Critical thinker and ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment

  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task and meet strict and occasionally moving deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and team skills

  • Proficiency in using MS office suites is an asset

  • Proficiency in using any of the following systems is considered an asset: WorkDay, VidCruiter, Sterling Backchecks and Textio

We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.

Education 

  • Must be enrolled in a Business Program (specialization in HR is preferred) Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term

  • Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered 

  • New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
