HR STUDENT ASSISTANT
THE ROLE

The position is based in Copenhagen, at our modern headquarters in Flintholm House, Frederiksberg—conveniently located right next to the metro station. You will report directly to our HR Director. The role is on-site and requires a commitment of 15–20 hours per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will play a key part in our HR team, helping to shape and enhance the employee experience at Fiskars. You will collaborate closely with HR colleagues, managers, and employees to ensure efficient HR operations and contribute to a positive, engaging workplace culture.
Your responsibilities will include a range of HR functions, from managing administrative tasks to coordinating well-being initiatives, giving you hands-on experience in a global organization.
- Manage and respond to administrative HR inquiries, covering areas such as benefits, pensions, and other HR operations.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate and organize well-being events, supporting the health and engagement of our employees.
- Employee documentation and record keeping.
- Assist with HR projects.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a motivated and reliable HR student assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You are currently pursuing a relevant degree and have a keen interest in HR processes and employee well-being. You are detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently. You bring strong communication skills, are proactive, and enjoy supporting teams with a variety of HR tasks.
Your ability to adapt and willingness to learn, along with great colleagues who are eager to support, will help you succeed in this role and contribute to the efficient running of our HR operations.
Experience and Characteristics:
- Currently pursuing a relevant degree, either at the bachelor’s or master’s level.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in Danish and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of AI tools is a plus, but not required.
- Proactive, with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on a range of HR tasks.
- You embrace change and look for ways to improve processes and contribute to the evolution of HR practices.
- You recognize the importance of the day-to-day work that supports a positive and productive work environment.
- You value diversity and encourage an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for colleagues and team members.
