Strategic Sourcing Analyst Senior

As a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst within the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) group, you will leverage your thought leadership and subject matter expertise to execute sourcing initiatives in support of the enterprise-wide business priorities of the Information Technology Group.

By leveraging your continuous improvement mindset, you will enable smooth operations between the sourcing teams, the Information Technology Group stakeholders and other internal partners such as Finance, Program Management, Risk and Legal.  You will help drive business value by developing strategies for and leading negotiations, including complex contracting negotiations.  Additionally, you will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost optimization initiatives, proactively manage expectations and address concerns related to sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate favorable contract terms while ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices. You will drive process optimization, vendor management enablement and category management. Every day, you’ll leverage your end-to-end sourcing, contracting, vendor management expertise to make recommendations to support business needs.

• You have 7+ years of advanced strategic sourcing experience, specifically in Technology outsourced labor, services, assets, and applications.
• You have in-depth understanding of sourcing planning, including market research, supplier selection, and risk mitigation.
• You have a strategic mindset in supplier negotiations and execution and a deep understanding of sourcing principles, methodologies, and contract law.
• You build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to influence and management expectations and convey contracting and commercial options concisely.
• You are proficient in data analysis, spend analytics, and financial modeling.
• You have extensive knowledge of relevant supplier markets, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
• You are curious and are committed to continuous learning and development.
• You demonstrate effective and professional service orientation and build appropriate rapport with internal and external contacts.
• You exercise good judgement and have a process for managing competing priorities. You are comfortable when priorities shift, and you manage change with steadfast composure.
• You’re comfortable dealing with ambiguity and navigating situations without clear directions. You are a master in creating backup plans and alternative options when unforeseen circumstances arise.
• You have prior experience within financial services and/or investment management.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $121,652-$194,643

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
