OVERVIEW:

This job is responsible for consolidating and maintaining all master data for the CapEx Procurement function across the House of Sport, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Golf Galaxy Performance Center banners.   This role will support standing up and managing an item master for each store prototype, supplier quote sheets, and a drawing repository for all components.  

Role Responsibilities:

• Maintain all quote sheets with suppliers in a systematic way including updating those quote sheets during the 3 times per year store prototype updates.   Share all updated quote sheets with supplier partners, and field any supplier questions. Develop and maintain an item master, which is inclusive of all items that are ordered for the stores.    This includes all line-item details and costing.  

• Maintain the Vendor Matrix, which assigns suppliers to individual stores.   This includes understanding the construction schedules and when suppliers need assigned.     

• Develop and maintain a repository for all drawings/specification sheets of all items that are ordered for the stores. 

• Lead the store prototype update process for the CapEx procurement team, and partner with the sourcing team on pricing new components.   This includes supporting a cross-functional meeting every other week and providing updates accordingly. 

• Be the central point of contact for all data that is stored and cataloged for the CapEx procurement team.   This includes supporting any data analysis that is needed.   Develop and maintain strong relationships with the CapEx procurement team to support building out capabilities around our data to support work processes. 

• Interdepartmental activity (i.e. Staff Meeting, Continuous Improvement, training)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or related Business Field

• Three to five years of experience

• Sourcing & procurement exposure, Facilities & Construction spend categories (preferred), data analytics, prior project management experience, retail experience (preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Sourcing & procurement technology (Ariba or equivalent)

• PeopleSoft Financials or equivalent

• Experience in spend data analytics

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint (Preferred)

• Ability to multi-task and problem solve

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Demonstrated attention to details and deadlines
