Analyst / Sr. Analyst, Strategic Finance

The Strategic Finance team at Aeropike is responsible for efficient deployment of the company’s resources and performing financial analyses in partnership with business leaders across all departments. With data-driven insights, we support strategic, financial, and operational decision making.

The ideal candidate will not only have the technical skills to support their recommendations but also strong interpersonal skills to work closely with various stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation and administration of Aerospike’s financial consolidation and forecast infrastructure
• Partner with the business to manage expense forecasts and own weekly and monthly financial reporting, KPIs, presentations, and other key analyses 
• Partner with accounting to support month-end close, flux reviews, and deliver high-quality financial reporting
• Help execute financial strategies to support Aerospike’s growth objectives, including strategic and financial planning, and budgeting
• Act as a strategic thought partner and support the business with ad hoc projects to determine operating improvements and associated financial impact  
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of financial analysis experience working directly in Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance or FP&A
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
• Demonstrated excellent project management skills, ability to critically analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Strong knowledge of Google Suite and Excel; expert modeling skills 

Nice to haves

• Major in finance, accounting, mathematics or computer science
• 1+ years of investment banking experience a plus
• Experience in SQL, Business Intelligence tools, SFDC, Adaptive Insights or Anaplan
