About the Role
Join our team as a Journal Strategic Advisor and help drive the success of international academic journals on the leading Diamond Open Access platform, Digital Commons. Our dynamic team is dedicated to innovation and excellence in academic publishing, supporting over 600 institutions worldwide.
Responsibilities
• Managing implementation and launch of Premier Journals;
• Coordinating with internal teams for successful journal launches;
• Liaising with prior platforms and publishers for smooth journal transitions;
• Advising on publishing best practices, policies, and ethics standards;
• Monitoring journal indexes and ensuring content updates;
• Providing strategic insights and recommendations to editors;
• Conducting workshops and training for editors and journal staff;
• Presenting at conferences and supporting community growth initiatives.
Requirements
• Possess experience in publishing, academic research, or a related field;
• Speak and write fluently in English. Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi or Urdu are a plus;
• Demonstrate the ability to create data-driven reports and analysis;
• Excel at project management and delivering high-quality presentations;
• Thrive in working with international clients and traveling as needed;
• Start tasks independently and work confidently with academic audiences;
• Hold an academic or publishing background, with journal management experience.
